Optimum Technology and Dublin Technology Group Merge
Shemas Joins Optimum Technology as VP of Development

COLUMBUS, Ohio [November 30, 2002]
Optimum Technology, a leading provider of information sharing solutions for state, county and municipal government agencies, today announced it has merged with the Dublin Technology Group (DTG), a consulting company that provides e-business strategies and systems integration services.

As a result of the merger, George P. Shemas, founder and principal of DTG, was named vice president of development of Optimum Technology. Shemas will be responsible for directing software framework and solutions development projects for the company's clients. His initial focus will be on developing products that enhance the Optimum’s offerings to the criminal justice and law enforcement communities.

Shemas brings more than 20 years of software development and solution consulting expertise to Optimum Technology. Before founding DTG, he served as vice president of product development for Open Text and Information Dimensions, leading providers of document and knowledge management software applications.

“We are truly excited about this union because it complements Optimum’s focus on the fields of law enforcement and public safety,” said Josh Davda, president and founder of Optimum Technology. “George will be instrumental in developing client-focused solutions that provide state-of-the-art functionality along with cost-effective integration with existing technology. This has always been emphasized at Optimum and we are pleased to be able to add George’s e-business expertise to our own.”

Shemas holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science, cum laude, from the University of Dayton. He is a member of the Central Ohio Quality Assurance Association, Fast Company COF, the Industry & Technology Council of Central Ohio and the Central Ohio Java Users Group.
